The Online Reporting System is for the reporting of minor crimes where there is no suspect information or other investigative leads. If there is a suspect in your incident, please call our non-emergency number 301-475-8008 for reporting/investigative purposes and a deputy will be dispatched to make contact with you. If the crime you are reporting meets the criteria of no suspects or investigative leads, continue to the next page and complete all information being as detailed as possible in the narrative section.
Reporting Suspicious Incidents:
The Online Reporting System is used for the reporting of suspicious incidents that have occurred in the past. If the incident is in progress, please call our non-emergency number 301-475-8008 for reporting/investigative purposes and a deputy will be dispatched to make contact with you. If the incident you are reporting meets the criteria of not being in progress, continue to the next page and complete all information being as detailed as possible in the narrative section.
Reporting Lost Items:
The Online Reporting System is used for reporting lost items such as cell phones, wallets, identification cards, and other items of value or traceable property. If the lost item you are reporting meets the criteria, continue to the next page and complete all information being as detailed as possible in the narrative section.

The Online Reporting System is not monitored at all times, and is not meant to act as an emergency reporting system. If this is an emergency, DIAL 911. All incidents submitted through the Online Reporting System are reviewed. You may be contacted by a Deputy Sheriff for follow-up questions. Submitting an incident through this system does not guarantee you will be contacted by a Deputy Sheriff.
