The Fleet and Police Services Section of the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office is responsible for overseeing and managing the agency’s vehicle fleet, ensuring that law enforcement, corrections, and civilian personnel have the necessary vehicles and equipment to perform their duties efficiently and safely.
The section oversees all aspects of fleet operations, including vehicle maintenance, repairs, upfitting, and surplus management. Fleet and Police Services also coordinates the acquisition and maintenance of specialized law enforcement equipment, including uniforms and medical supplies such as AEDs and IFAK kits.
